The symbolization of our agressively dynamic society
Jan van Eden retrata a hombres y
Jan van Eden portrays men and women as part of the urbanised society -
integrating the human figure with the architecture of the megalopolis - where the hard
businesslike atmosphere competes with technical ingenuity. The architecture, rendered with
mathematical precision and where no emotion appears to exist, contrasts sharply with the
expressionistic freehand human faces and details of clothing, evoking luxury, glamour and
sexuality.
Today's urban 'culture' has grown to Babylonian proportions and the future has
become all the more unpredictable.
