First drawing with strong personal style characteristics. My discovery of abstract values in a portrait without losing the psychological content. The main character features done in black are henceforth characteristic in my work.

Primer dibujo con fuertes características de estilo personal. Mi descubrimiento de los valores abstractos en un retrato sin perder el contenido psicológico. Los rasgos de los personajes principales realizados en negro son a partir de ahora característicos de mi obra.

Primero de los trípticos explorando grandes temas sobre los orígenes y el abuso de autoridad, como, en este caso, el régimen legítimo. Gobiernos que nos entretienen con deportes y juegos de guerra, manteniendo a la sociedad rehén en una cúpula de falsas pretensiones.

New development with figuration placed in the background through the application of nearly monochrome colourwashes. Prominence of narrow vertical white lines and the usage of seperate panels within the painting. The lines are cut out (not painted) to show the unprepared canvas, enhancing the dynamics of solid colourfields.

Nuevo desarrollo con la figuración colocada en segundo plano mediante la aplicación de lavados de color casi monocromáticos. Prominencia de estrechas líneas verticales blancas y el uso de paneles separados dentro de la pintura. Las líneas están recortadas (no pintadas) para mostrar el lienzo sin preparar, mejorando la dinámica de los campos de colores sólidos.

Belphoebe, Chastity, grace and courage

Belphoebe is a mythical goddess in Edmund Spenser's The Faerie Queene, published in 1590 and dedicated to Elizabeth I, Queen of England. A chivalric romance that has been made with a typical recipe: fierce wars and loves, but Christianized. Redcrosse Knight's physical and moral journeys dramatize his effort to find the right ratio of human to divine contributions for salvation. Fantastic elements like alien humans, humanoids, and monsters and their respective abodes are vividly described.
The Faerie Queene is the most important work of the English literary Renaissance.

Belphoebe es una diosa mitico en el The Faerie Queene (La reina de las hadas) de Edmund Spenser, publicado en 1590 y dedicada a Elizabeth I reina de Inglaterra. Un romance caballeresco que se ha hecho con una receta típica: feroces guerras y amores, pero cristianizada. Los viajes físicos y morales de Redcrosse Knight dramatizan su esfuerzo por encontrar la proporción adecuada de contribuciones humanas a divinas para la salvación. Elementos fantásticos como humanos alienígenas, humanoides y monstruos y sus respectivas moradas se describen vívidamente.
El Faerie Queene es la obra más importante del Renacimiento literario inglés.

Paintings based on historical photographs from 1948 refering to the Palestinian Nakba.  Events with dramatic consequence like the Spanish civil war or the abandoning of the Saharan people after the ending of their colonial status and other events were also addressed in my oeuvre.

Pinturas basadas en fotografías históricas de 1948 que hacen referencia a la Nakba palestina. En mi obra también se abordaron sucesos de dramáticas consecuencias como la guerra civil española o el abandono del pueblo saharaui tras el fin de su condición colonial y otros sucesos.
